Rebranding

If you’ve been following the blog you’ve noticed a few changes. I’m rebranding the company from Lemere Photography to Kevin Lemere Photography. The new branding will be my new watermark on web shared images and on product boxes and bags when delivered to customers. It simply states our commitment to creating works that are innovative, forward thinking products, creative images that push beyond the norm separating our images from all the rest, and fashionable style of photography, edits, and transformations. Your photographs should be something you cherish for a lifetime. You deserve photography that is Innovative, Creative, and Stylish. You deserve Kevin Lemere Photography.

The site transition is underway and soon you will be greeted with a brand new website that focuses on the images even more! Big, beautiful images in the blog are just the first step. The new blog will feature images that are unobstructed by sidebars and as always, no advertisements to distract you. You will also see a change in format. A more minimalist approach to the web will allow us to showcase our work and enable you to share it more easily with family and friends. Along with site changes I will be starting email subscriptions. These subscriptions will be geared toward updating you with new blog posts via email. There will be a photographer section with a separate email subscription for tips and creative ideas for photographers as well.

Hall Family Portraits | Brunswick

Milton and his beautiful wife Faith asked me to photograph their family portraits in order to update their wall portraits in their home, have Christmas cards made, and get some much needed photos with Milton’s mother. Their home made a perfect backdrop for some of the images and I was able to capture their kid’s sparkling personalities. One of my favorite images is the one where they both looked at me with a surprised look with their lips in the shape of a circle.

I really enjoyed photographing this family and it really makes what I do worthwhile when I am able to sit down with them after the session and they like and want to order every image I show them. Family portrait photography has never been a highlight for my business. But given the great experience I had with this family I will definitely be shooting more families! In fact, I’ve already booked a few more!

Christmas time is right around the corner and as I mentioned, the Hall’s wanted to make a special card this year. You can too! Just schedule a portrait session and after your session we will pick out the images you want to order as prints and find the perfect one for your Christmas cards! Think about how special it will be for family and friends to get a unique and classy Christmas card that’s more special than one from a do-it-all-photo-lab-in-a-store place. Your family and friends deserve more from you. And you deserve the best! Schedule your session soon as it takes a couple of weeks to get the cards back after order.

Star Trails

I’m a member of a few photography groups. One of our groups, The Chapel Photography, has decided to have a photo submission theme for each day of the week. I’ve seen this done with other groups but I’ve never really participated. This time it seemed like something I wanted to be a part of, so I’m in.

Here’s my first submission for Saturday Night Live. This theme is for night photography so I chose to try out star trails.

The Night Sky

Sometimes it’s fun to break away and do something different. I’ve been doing sports, weddings, portraits, and seniors so often that I forget sometimes to take a look at the world as it is. Last night I spent some time grilling out and taking some night photography. Here’s the result. I’m adding these to my portfolio as well.

Elsie Blanchette – Brantley County High Class of 2013

Downtown senior sessions are some of my favorite! Elsie did a fantastic job posing and offering her beautiful smile for my camera. The weather was nice with overcast skies creating a beautiful softness on her skin and the walls of the historic downtown buildings.

Elsie is one of our Senior SpokesMODELs from Brantley County High School. Elsie enjoys singing, listening to music, scrapbooking and participates on HOSA at her school. She plans to attend College of Coastal Georgia after graduating. In her free time she loves to go to the beach and spend time with her family.
